This is my doll baby Lyndy. When I got her from Dee Gage, we thought she was pregnant. I decided to have an ultra sound done to find out for sure. The vet said he saw nothing but to come back in 10 days and redo the ultra sound. Lyndy is not pregnant, and after talking this past weekend to many people who have had kits, I am relieved. She has a body tight as steel, you can't even pull up a scruff on her. Lyndy was not an aggressive biter much to my relief as I had heard the DMK ferrets could be. All it took was some bonding time. Every morning and night, I sat her on my lap and she got a jar of turkey baby food off a spoon and my finger. I would then wipe her chin now and then so she knew my fingers were not something to beware of. She was so much fun to watch the first couple of days, exploring her new space. I had her away from my other ferrets in the guest bedroom. She was every where and into everything. Bouncing and making the softest dooking I have ever heard. Lyndy has been with me over a month now, and has since joined my other kids. She fit in just great. We found her curled up with them in one pile, and that was a wonderful feeling. I even got two kissed on my lips one day. I can reach into a tube and pull her out without any biting from her. she is not a snuggler like Grissom is, but when she is upset, Momma holding her is just the thing. She will be fixed at the same time Grissom is. I am so happy that I opened my heart and home to Lyndy and Grissom, despite my husbands feelings. What I love is that both Lyndy and Grissom, will come to me without hesitation.
