Delilah has a forever home -
Hello! Thank you ALL for everything you're doing to ensure these kids got out of that mess.
Mom adopted Delilah from Dook Nook's Jackie Hawley in Jacksonville FL, Nov 8. We live in Daytona Beach and in past years have adopted 2 other ferrets from Jackie. Bandit went to the bridge Oct 27, never recovering from adrenal tumor surgery. That left Liebschen a bit mopey. Bandit was a very laid back boy and so Liebschen followed suit for the 2 yrs they were together.
I made a tribute to mom and her ferrets http://ferretmom.myjalbum.net/the%20kids/ The last 2 photos are Bandit, his last pictures at the vet's Oct 27. I made a birthday t-shirt from the collage from vistaprint.com. It printed amazing!
Delilah is so full of happiness and energy. I woke her up last night at our first meet and she let me cradle and scratch her till fully awake then off she went. She was in my pant leg, on my lap, in my purse, in my bag, you name it, and she wanted to know who and what was in HER house LOL. Liebschen woke up from the commotion. She is like a pile of pudding, you can cradle her and scratch her chin and face and she'll stay all day till your done. I set her down and captured the enclosed picture. Too cute. Delilah was then dancing on the floor enjoying the party and ran after Liebschen chasing her into the bedroom. Never saw them again... off to sleep lol.
Again, thank you for allowing our family to enjoy this jewel and know she is loved and cherished and the brightest spot in mom's day! With love from the Robinsons, Gerda (mom) Nancy (daughter) Christina (granddaughter)
Liebchen and Schotsie aka Delilah (can you tell mom is German? lol)
